FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Muddy Princess is an outdoor 5K obstacle mud run designed exclusively for women, focusing on fun, empowerment, and an unforgettable girls’ dirty day out in the mud!
We’re not about speed or competition, we’re all about the fun! Our course features 18–20 obstacles with a mix of challenges, so get ready to run, walk, crawl, climb, slide, balance and most importantly, laugh your way to the finish line.
We celebrate women in all forms! Muddy Princess is all about you.
Our goal is to give you an experience where you feel like a Princess (yes, even while crawling through the mud)
It’s a day filled with girl power, female bonding, and those unforgettable “Wow, I never thought I’d be able to do that!” moments.
We’ve designed a mix of obstacles to keep you challenged, entertained, and, of course, covered in mud!
Get ready to:
- Wade, crawl, or paddle through water and mud
- Climb ropes, nets, and tire towers
- Test your balance on tricky crossings
- Slide, glide, shimmy, and roll down poles, hills, and embankments
- Move over, through, and under poles, climbing frames, and barrels
No matter your fitness level, our obstacles are all about teamwork, laughter, and muddy fun!
No! We encourage our Princesses to learn more about themselves, their boundaries, and possibly their limitations at our events.
If an obstacle is too much for you, you are welcome to walk through and continue your run.
No, there is not!
We don’t focus on time tracking or competition.
Once you are on the course, you can complete the run as fast or as slowly as you like.
There is no pressure to run, you can walk the entire course at your leisure.
Yes! We are proudly partnered with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).
NBCF provides breast health education, early detection services, and vital support to women facing breast cancer.
A portion of every ticket sold is donated directly to NBCF. That means when you run, climb, and get muddy, you’re not just challenging yourself—you’re also supporting a powerful cause!
We offer both Standard and VIP ticket options, either way, both include lots of fun and plenty of mud!
Standard tickets include: Headband, bracelet, sticker, tattoo, e-Book, finisher medal, digital photos, fun warm up, hydration points, rinse off station, tons of mud and a donation to NBCF
VIP tickets include everything in the Standard ticket plus exclusive t-shirt, tutu, waterproof phone pouch, sunglasses, event parking, bag check, run at anytime and VIP registration
Since this is an outdoor, physical event so we recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.
But why stop at just practical?
We encourage our Princesses to go all out and show off their inner Princess.
Think tutus, tiaras, bright colors, glitter, and all things bold and fun!
Yes! However, there is a minimum age requirement, and since this is a women only event, only young Princesses are allowed to join.
Please note that all registered participants (regardless of age) pay the same entry fee, as everyone receives the same Muddy Princess experience.
Here’s how it works:
- Ages 14+ : Can participate without an accompanying adult but must follow all course rules. A parent or legal guardian MUST sign the event waiver on event day.
- Ages 7–13: Must be accompanied by a registered, participating adult. Parents are responsible for determining which obstacles their little Princesses can safely complete based on their ability, size, and confidence level. A parent or legal guardian MUST sign the event waiver on event day.
- Ages 6 and under: Unfortunately, they’re too young to participate in the run. However, they’re welcome to hang out in our village area (under adult supervision), where there are food stalls, drinks, and space to relax.
Note: No waiver, no run, no exceptions.
We recommend arriving at least 1 hour before your scheduled batch time to ensure a smooth check-in process.
Upon arrival, head straight to the Registration tents to get your colored wristband and hand in your signed waiver.
Once you’re checked in, feel free to hang out in our Village area, and soak in the pre-run excitement while waiting for your batch to be called!
The run can take 1 – 3 hours to complete. It totally depends on you and how fast or slowly you want to run, walk, crawl or shimmy the course. The average time is 2 hours.
We average between 150 – 250 Princesses in each batch, depending on the size of the event.
Yes! However, we cannot guarantee a spot in a specific batch time.
We always recommend that you book in advance, but, in the unlikely event that we aren’t sold out, a few open slots may be available.
At Muddy Princess, we don’t let a little rain (or even a giant pool of mud) slow us down!
We’re a rain or shine event, so unless we explicitly contact you with a cancellation notice, the event is on.
The only weather conditions that could put a stop to our muddy fun: Lightning, hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires, earthquakes, extreme hail, or blizzards.
If an event must be postponed due to forces beyond our control, we’ll do our best to reschedule it as soon as possible, which may even be at a new venue.
All tickets will automatically transfer to the new event.
Please note that no refunds will be issued for weather related cancellations.
We offer a Bag Drop for $5, where you can safely store your belongings while you conquer the course.
Please note: We are a cashless event, so be sure to bring a card or digital payment method for any purchases on-site.
Please contact info@muddyprincess.com for more details.
Bring your smile, your ticket (download or screenshot it before arriving), a form of ID, your gear, and a digital form of payment as we are a cashless event.
